The tea ceremony set "Seiun" (jap. "mist") features a wine-red matcha bowl that reflects Japan's hilly landscape. With a volume of about 430 ml, it is ideal for making frothy matcha tea. The included 80-bristle bamboo matcha whisk (chasen) provides firm foam, while the included whisk holder maintains its shape and ensures quick drying. The traditional bamboo spoon (chashaku) perfectly doses the matcha powder (1 spoon ≈ 1g). The set is rounded off by 30g of original Japanese organic matcha from Mi Prefecture, located in the south of Japan - certified in accordance with the EC Eco Regulation by AGRECO DE-ÖKO-012.

The focal point of our "Seiun" (Japanese for "mist") tea ceremony set is the wine-red matcha bowl with its deliberately irregular shape and wavy rim, which represents the hilly landscape of Japan. The glaze of the bowl, which is reminiscent of a reddish nebula, allows the intensive green of the matcha to come into its own. The relatively large bowl has a diameter of 12 cm and a height of 8 cm. With a volume of approx. 430 ml, the bowl offers enough space to whip the matcha tea until it is foamy.

The bamboo matcha whisk, also called chasen, included in the set is an essential accessory for preparing matcha tea. It has 80 bristles and allows the matcha tea to be beaten with a firm and handsome foam. After use, simply rinse the bamboo broom with lukewarm water and place it on the broom holder provided with the bristles pointing downwards. The special shape of the holder ensures that the bristles are protected and keep their shape longer. With the traditional bamboo spoon (chashaku), the Matcha powder is optimally dosed into the bowl (1 heaped spoon corresponds to 1g).

The set is completed by a 30g zip bag with original Japanese organic Matcha* from Mie Prefecture in southern Japan.
