The focus of the "Gurei" (Japanese: "grey") Matcha set is the handcrafted Matcha bowl in a modern design. The bowl has a diameter of 10.8 cm and a height of 6 cm. With a volume of approx. 320 ml, the bowl offers enough space to whip the matcha tea until it is foamy.

The set includes a "Chashaku" matcha spoon for optimal dosing of the matcha. The included bamboo whisk, also known as chasen, is an essential accessory for preparing matcha tea. It has 80 bristles and allows the matcha tea to be beaten with a firm and handsome foam.

The broom holder made of porcelain ("Chasentate" in Japanese) in the same design as the matcha bowl extends the life of the matcha broom, as the bristles dry quickly and particularly well thanks to even ventilation. After use, simply rinse the bamboo broom with lukewarm water and place it on the holder with the bristles facing down. The special shape of the holder ensures that the bristles are protected and keep their shape longer.
