The tea ceremony set "Sakura" (jap. "cherry blossom") consists of an elegant matcha bowl with irregular shape and wavy rim, inspired by Japan's hilly landscape. The bowl features a pure white and soft pink color reminiscent of cherry blossoms, accentuating the intense green of the matcha. The 12 cm x 8 cm bowl holds approximately 430 ml. Included in the set are an 80-bristle bamboo matcha broom (chasen), a bamboo spoon (chashaku), a broom holder, and a 30g bag of organic matcha (EC eco-CO certified by AGRECO DE-ÖKO-012) from southern Japan. The right set for both matcha connoisseurs and casual connoisseurs.

The focal point of our "Sakura" (Japanese for "cherry blossom") tea ceremony set is the elegant matcha bowl with its deliberately irregular shape and wavy rim, which represents the hilly landscape of Japan. The design of the bowl, made of pure white and subtly applied pink that becomes lighter towards the bottom, is reminiscent of the Japanese cherry blossom. This spring-like color combination allows the intensive green of the Matcha to come into its own. The relatively large bowl has a diameter of 12 cm and a height of 8 cm. With a volume of approx. 435 ml, the bowl offers enough space to whip the matcha tea until it is foamy.

The pink glaze of the Matcha bowl varies slightly in color and distribution, so no two bowls are the same. Each one is unique.

The bamboo matcha whisk, also called chasen, included in the set is an essential accessory for preparing matcha tea. It has 80 bristles and allows the matcha tea to be beaten with a firm and handsome foam. After use, simply rinse the bamboo broom with lukewarm water and place it on the broom holder provided with the bristles pointing downwards. The special shape of the holder ensures that the bristles are protected and keep their shape longer. With the traditional bamboo spoon (chashaku), the Matcha powder is optimally dosed into the bowl (1 heaped spoon corresponds to 1g).

The set is completed by a 30g zip bag with original Japanese organic Matcha* from Mie Prefecture in southern Japan.
