The "Kori" tea ceremony set features a midnight blue matcha bowl that symbolizes Japan's hilly landscape. The dark glaze with white rim provides a charming contrast to the bright matcha. Measuring 12 cm in diameter, 8 cm in height and approximately 430 ml in volume, the bowl generously holds frothy tea. The set also includes a bamboo matcha whisk (chasen) with 80 bristles, a whisk holder to protect the bristles and a bamboo spoon (chashaku) for easy portioning. The set is rounded off with 30g of organic matcha from Mie Prefecture, certified in accordance with the EC Eco Regulation by AGRECO DE-ÖKO-012.

The focus of our "Kori" (Japanese for "ice") tea ceremony set is the midnight blue matcha bowl with its deliberately irregular shape and wavy rim, which represents the hilly landscape of Japan. The glaze is a very dark, almost black "midnight blue" with an ice-crusted edge. This dark, cool coloring creates an interesting contrast to the light green, hot Matcha. The relatively large bowl has a diameter of 12 cm and a height of 8 cm. With a volume of around 430 ml, the bowl offers enough space to whip the matcha tea until it is foamy.

The bamboo matcha whisk, also called chasen, included in the set is an essential accessory for preparing matcha tea. It has 80 bristles and allows the matcha tea to be beaten with a firm and handsome foam. After use, simply rinse the bamboo broom with lukewarm water and place it on the broom holder provided with the bristles pointing downwards. The special shape of the holder ensures that the bristles are protected and keep their shape longer. With the traditional bamboo spoon (chashaku), the Matcha powder is optimally dosed into the bowl (1 heaped spoon corresponds to 1g).

The set is completed by a 30g zip bag with original Japanese organic Matcha* from Mie Prefecture in southern Japan.
